Walt Disney World Resort | FastPass+ | Tiered System

If you've had the pleasure of going to Walt Disney World and even if your planning your first trip. Survey says you have heard about FastPass+. Fast Passes are an electronic system that allows guest to get into an expedited line at a scheduled time. Fast Passing is a great way to ensure you get to ride all the rides you can.

Whether your staying on property or not your admission tickets come with three fast passes per person in your group per day. now your three fast passes all have to be used in the same park on the day used. Once guests use their first three fast passes they become eligible to select a fourth at any park. The fact that it can be used at any park is something anyone with a park hopper added to their ticket should remember.

Guests staying on property can select their fast passes as early as 60 days from your trip. Guests staying off property have slightly less time to get their fast passes by only making passes available 30 days from your planned trip.

One thing to remember while selecting your fast passes is, every park excluding Magic Kingdom have what's called a tiered rides system. This means those popular E-Ticket attractions are put on the same tear. Guest selecting passes may only choose 1 ride from tier 1 and two from tier 2. Once the first three Fast passes are used for the day you can select your fourth from tier one but keep in mind the fourth pass selection is subject to what is available that day.

Be sure to keep these tiered ride in mind when you are preparing for you trips fast pass selection. On fastpass day it is a great idea to get online at 7 am and to use a pc over the My Disney Experience app.
