Animal Kingdom | Satu'li Canteen | Disney Dining Review

Hey guys @DisneyAdams here to bring you a fun review on Satu'li Canteen, Animal Kingdoms newest dinging location. Satu'li is located in the Pandora - World of Avatar area and is themed beautifully. like an old hanger or lab that has been Navi-ified. Navi, being the tall blue humanoid creatures that came to live in Disney's Avatar film.

Satu'li Canteen offers a lunch and dinner menu that I was quite happy with. The bowl dishes were great and offers you quite a few different options and the few I have tried were phenomenal. The guest starts by choosing their base with items like quinoa and vegetable salad, fried rice, red and sweet potato hash and romaine and kale salad. Then, guest choose their protein after viewing the on-stage grill. This option includes the sliced grilled beef, wood-grilled chicken, chili-spiced tofu and fish. To top them off, you have a choice of sauce.

My fiance got the Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl and I went for the Wood-Grilled Chicken bowl and then split both. When we had gone the first time they hadn't yet offered the combination bowl on the menu. Both were great. The seasoning on the chicken was to die for and it went really well with the rice base I chose.

Guests can also choose the cheeseburger steamed pod or Bao Buns. I have not tried these yet but i hear all over how good they are. It's served with slaw and veggie chips and is filled with burger, cheddar cheese, ketchup, mustard and pickles. This is my first choice for our upcoming december trip.

Now I know this isn't Satu'li Canteen but it's right outside the cafeteria and the drink are amazing. Yes I'm talking about, Pongu Pongu Lounge. Pongu Pongu means "Party Party" in the Na'vi Language and the drinks certainly live up to the name!! We had the Rum Blossom and well aside from the good helping of rum thi drink tasted amazing. The little passion fruit boba balls are a really cool touch and add a great taste to the drink.
